Carlos Jimenez is an experienced litigation attorney who focuses on Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice and Insurance Litigation matters. He has devoted his career to uncovering the truth for his clients and pursuing justice and compensation for their losses.
Son of the late-Judge Julio Jimenez, Carlos grew up around his father’s practice and knew from a very young age that he wanted to be a lawyer. Before going to law school at Florida International University, he worked as the Bailiff for the late-Judge Margarita Esquiroz, where his love for the courtroom originated.
Early in his career, Carlos began as an Associate at a prestigious plaintiff’s Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice law firm in Coral Gables, Florida. He then went on to be in-house counsel at a number of insurance companies over the next few years, where he first teamed up with Benjamin Mordes.
Whether a straight forward or complex case, Carlos’ dedication and strong representation has successfully recovered millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts for clients.
Carlos is a Miami native and proud alumni of Christopher Columbus High School. On the weekends, he enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife, Christina, and his two sons, Tomas and Mateo.

Benjamin is a partner at Jimenez Mazzitelli Mordes. He is highly experienced in litigating difficult and complex insurance cases, which has led to an exceptional record of success.
Prior to joining the firm, Benjamin spent 10 years on the defense side working for one of the nation’s top insurance carriers. There, he wasn’t just another defense attorney; he managed the legal department for the insurance carrier and oversaw thousands of lawsuits. His insight into how insurance adjusters make decisions and handle personal injury claims cannot be understated. With his in-depth understanding of the insurance industry and the challenges involved, along with his past experience he has been able to to help individuals receive maximum compensation.
Benjamin graduated from the Emory University School of Law with Honors. He also obtained a Masters of Law from the NYU School of Law. In addition, he is a member of both the Florida Bars and New York Bars.
He lives in Coral Gables with his wife Sada, a musician from Havana. In his free time, he likes to travel, enjoys iced espresso and spending time at the beach. When not practicing law, he loves cheering for his alma mater, the Miami Hurricanes.

Carolina A. Collado is an experienced attorney, with a focus in Immigration law. Before joining the firm, Carolina was most recently an Assistant Chief Counsel who spent several years as a federal prosecutor with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Carolina successfully represented individuals in immigration-related matters involving removal defense, waivers of criminal convictions, asylum, family-based petition, residence, citizenship and employment-based petitions. Carolina has also appeared on behalf of clients in the U.S. District Court and Court of Appeals. Early in her career, Carolina worked as a real estate attorney, a title agent and represented individuals in Bankruptcy.

Jordan is a Partner at Jimenez Mazzitelli Mordes. Prior to joining the firm, Jordan spent several years working as a Defense attorney representing insurance companies and their insureds. Having worked on “the other side,” Jordan gained invaluable insight as to how insurance companies operate and how they evaluate claims. Jordan uses this knowledge to maximize recovery for his clients. Jordan focuses his practice representing victims of personal injury as a result of motor vehicle accidents, trucking accidents, slip/trip and falls, and medical malpractice.
Jordan graduated from St. Thomas University School of Law, with honors. While in law school, Jordan was selected to serve as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Ivan F. Fernandez of the Florida Third District Court of Appeal. Jordan also served as an advisor/intern at the United Nations in New York City.
Prior to law school, Jordan attended the University of Florida. Jordan was born in Cuba and has spent most of his life in Miami, Florida. In his spare time, Jordan enjoys attending sporting events, fishing, and tries to play golf. He lives in Southwest Miami with his wife, Karla and his goldendoodle, Loki.

Shortly thereafter, Rad took what he had learned, and went on to work at one of Florida’s top insurance defense firms where he represented some of the nation’s top insurance carriers. Having absorbed all that he could, Rad decided to take his knowledge, and shifted his focus toward assisting medical providers. For the last 10 years, Rad has helped medical providers receive fair and just compensation for the treatment that they have provided to patients during their time of need after an auto accident.
Rad was born and raised in Miami, we he received a great educational foundation at Christopher Columbus High School. He went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology/Anthropology from Florida International University. He earned is Juris Doctor degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where he was heavily involved in student government, eventually rising to the position of President of the Hispanic Law Society.

Daniel Castro

Daniel Castro is a trial attorney at Jimenez Mazzitelli Mordes representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases, PIP cases, and property disputes against insurance companies.
Prior to joining the firm, he served as an Assistant Public Defender in the Law Office of the Public Defender in the 17th Judicial Circuit of Florida. At the Public Defender’s Office, he ensured that indigent men and women accused of criminal offenses received equal justice under law.
After leaving the Public Defender’s Office, Mr. Castro worked as outside defense counsel defending homeowners’ insurance companies in civil actions brought by insureds. Realizing that he preferred championing the rights of individuals over large institutions, he decided to become a civil plaintiffs’ attorney prosecuting homeowners’ claims against residential and commercial insurance companies. He presently focuses his practice on personal injury cases, PIP cases, and first-party property disputes.

Zachary Thompson

Zachary Thompson is an associate at Jimenez Mazzitelli Mordes, LLP. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Florida International University in 2021 and her Juris Doctorate degree from St. Thomas University College of Law in 2024. During the Summer of 2022, Veronica gained valuable experience as an intern for the Honorable Barbara Areces in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit, which provided her with invaluable insights into the judicial process.
